Make-up Museum

Famous works from the top professionals in the make-up field will be on display, as well as works from special make-up effects studios, rare photo collections and movie memorabilia. There is often an unprecedented collection of works from make-up history.

The 2012 IMATS Vancouver Make-up Museum was curated by Dallas Harvey (BELOW). Harvey is a special make-up effects artist and prosthetics and digital-concept designer. He instructs beginner-to-advanced classes at Sculpting Mentor (sculptingmentor.com), and he created the Digital Makeup Design program at Blanche Macdonald Centre, where he also instructs. In addition, Harvey operates Vancouver Makeup FX, a traditional and digital-effects design studio in Vancouver, British Columbia. His recent work is viewable on his website, VancouverMakeupFX.com.
