Howard Berger
Howard Berger worked with Stan Winston on Predator and Aliens and Rick Baker on Harry and the Hendersons. In 1988, Berger and Gregory Nicotero formed their own studio, KNB EFX Group, Inc. in Los Angeles. KNB has worked on Dances With Wolves, Casino, the Kill Bill films, Inglourious Basterds, Army of Darkness and Sin City. Berger’s greatest challenge thus far has been adapting The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. It earned him a BAFTA for Best Makeup and an Academy Award for Achievement in Makeup. He has also worked on the second and third Narnia films and most recently worked on Hitchcock and Oz The Great and Powerful.

Tami Lane
Oscar winner Tami Lane has more than 13 years of experience in the film and television industries as a make-up and special make-up effects artist. Her credits include The Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Chronicles of Narnia trilogy, Superman Returns, Surrogates and many others. Recently she was in New Zealand working as the prosthetics supervisor on The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. In 2006, she won the Achievement in Makeup Oscar for her work on The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

Tina Turnbow
As the past spokesperson for Beauty.com and a blogger for The New York Times, Tina Turnbow has spent more than a decade working with the best photographers and designers in the business. She studied at the Art Institute of Chicago before moving into cosmetics at the age of 24. By assisting Pat McGrath, Jeanine Lobell and Lucia Pieroni, Turnbow developed a versatile style. Her interest and passion for the environment and women’s health has led her to support eco-friendly cosmetics and skin care. Her celebrity clients include Claire Danes, Mary Louise Parker, Sheryl Crow and Amanda Peet.

Matthew Ambrosio
Matthew Ambrosio plays several roles in the beauty industry. As a make-up artist, published writer and beauty editor, his choice and most important client remains the everyday woman. Alex LaMarsh
Whether wielding a make-up brush or producing photo shoots, Alex LaMarsh has conquered every aspect of her craft. She moved from Nebraska to San Francisco to study fashion and costume design and worked as a theater and opera costumer in San Francisco before moving to New York to model. She now lives in Los Angeles and works full time as a make-up and hair artist. She is also a contributor to J'Adore magazine.

Virginia Linzee
After getting her BFA in painting, Virgina Linzee became more interested in make-up because it was a more social way of practicing her skills. Oscar-nominated make-up artist Tina Earnshaw taught Linzee everything she knew before sending her to New York, where she assisted Dick Page, Pep Gay and Sil Bruinsma before starting on her own career. Today she works with runway, fashion, music and celebrity clients, including Madeline Stowe, Heart, Andie MacDowell and Beyonce’s dancers.

Peter Montagna
Peter Montagna’s career spans more than 31 years in television and film. An early break came when he worked with Dick Smith on The Hunger. In 1981, he apprenticed at NBC television: assignments included Today, Late Night with David Letterman and Saturday Night Live, where he met Billy Crystal and went on to do projects including The Princess Bride and When Harry Met Sally. Montagna has won a CableAce and Hollywood Makeup Artist and Hair Stylist Guild Award; he’s also an Emmy and Oscar nominee.

Sharon Gault
International known for her groundbreaking work with makeup, Sharon Gault has created iconic looks for some of the biggest names is show business and fashion, and in the process, defined emerging trends for two decades in modern pop culture. At the age of 16, Sharon became very interested in photography, and later trained with Vidal Sassoon as a hairstylist. A few laters, Sharon discovered her passion for makeup, and chose to focus her energy in this direction. Already a veteran of the Hollywood fashion scene, it was not until she toured with Madonna on the "Blonde Ambition" tour, and was featured in the candid documentary "Madonna: Truth or Dare" that Sharon became an overnight sensation to the world. To this day, many people know her simply as "Mama Makeup", a nickname given to her by the dancers on the tour.

Christina Grant
Christina Grant is currently the assistant make-up supervisor for the Broadway production of The Lion King. Vargas, a world-renowned body painter, is one of the most acclaimed body artists in the industry. Bobbie Weiner, aka Bloody Mary
Bobbie Weiner is a make-up effects industry veteran and author. Her work appears in films including Titanic, Pumpkinhead II: Blood Wings, Behind Enemy Lines, Shooter and Dear John and in the Broadway shows Wicked and Mamma Mia! She introduced her line of Halloween and effects make-up, Bloody Mary, more than 14 years ago, and she teaches her “Makeup to Die For” workshops throughout the United States. In 2005, Weiner’s The Tales of Bloody Mary comic book hit the shelves; her book, I Can Do This, came out in 2011. Weiner supplies the United States Department of Defense with camouflage face paint for soldiers and has developed a line of cosmetics, Bloody Mary’s The Final Touch, which is sold to funeral homes worldwide.

Koren Zander, known to most beauty enthusiasts as EnKore Makeup, has 24 years’ experience as a professional make-up artist. He has taught for IMATS and other shows and worked on theatrical productions, runway shows, commercials, bridal, print and pageants. His YouTube channel, Facebook and Twitter pages contain how-to videos, product reviews and make-up organizing ideas. He invented the Cufflette mixing palette and designed the app Face Chart Pro.
