WHAT: Make-Up Artist Pro Card Events
WHEN: 2-6 p.m. Friday, April 5 and 9-11 a.m. Sunday, April 7
WHERE: Pier 94, 711 12th Ave.
These events are for Make-Up Artist magazine Pro-Card holders only. From 2-6 p.m. Friday, April 5, enjoy shopping and networking without the crowds. Stay from 6-8 p.m. for drinks and the New York premiere of Dream Out Loud, the documentary about celebrated make-up artist Kazuhiro Tsuji, followed by an unveiling of Tsuji's incredible bust of Abraham Lincoln.
And from 9-11 a.m. Sunday, April 7, watch as keynote speaker Howard Berger and featured speaker Peter Montagna recreate the Wicked Witch of the West make-up from Oz The Great and Powerful on Mila Kunis' double. This application is exclusive to IMATS, so don't miss it!
To attend simply show your Make-up Artist magazine Pro-card along with your picture ID at the IMATS registration desk. Card holders are allowed to bring one guest to the Friday event. Guests must arrive along with the Pro-Card holder. Tickets not required.
Throughout the weekend, other Make-Up Artist Pro-Card perks include express entry into the show, preferred classroom seating and pro-only discounts from participating vendors. Get in early to IMATS New York (Sunday, April 7) with your Make-Up Artist magazine Pro Card! Avoid the crowds and shop from 9 to 11 a.m. General-admission hours run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
For early entry Make-up Artist magazine Pro-Card holders will need to have their Pro Card as well as an IMATS e-ticket to enter. Gold and Platinum card holders are allowed one guest and can enter with their Pro Cards only.
