The Magic of Body Painting in Art and Fashion

Master body painter and editorial artist Einat Dan will explain the theory of body painting as art and discuss ways to create compelling body-paint designs for fashion, commercial work and special events. Dan will explore multiple techniques, explaining how to use products and tools in the most impressive, expressive ways possible.

Class will be held Friday, Feb. 3, 2011 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Alexandra Palace.

The fee for this four-hour, hands-on master class is £195.

Definitive Glamour: Make-up Essentials Workshop

Emmy Award-winning makeup artist Valenté Frazier—whose clients have included Tyra Banks, Iman, Heidi Klum and American First Lady Michelle Obama—teaches the fundamentals of make-up application and the creation of stunning looks. This intimate, hands-on workshop will cover tricks for correcting imperfections, the best make-ups for various skin types and nationalities, choosing foundations and concealers, how to create a younger-looking appearance, product care and make-up trends. Attendees should arrive with a model or friend to practice on and their own make-up kits to work from.
