1. Q: What are the show hours?
A: Friday (Pro-Card holders only) 4 - 8 p.m.; Saturday (General admission) 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sunday (General admission) 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pro-Card hours require pre-registration, and general admission hours require tickets for entry.
2. Q: Is IMATS open to the public?
A: Yes, the Saturday and Sunday General admission hours are open to the public, where indicated. IMATS Pro-Card Events are only open to Make-Up Artist magazine Pro-Card holders, and the date and times vary by city. We reserve the right to refuse service.
3. Q: Do you offer group sales?
A: Yes, we do offer group discounts of 10% off for groups of 10 or more people. All group sales must be placed and paid in one order; the deadline to place group orders is March 28. Please contact us for more information: email@example.com.
4. Q: What are the presale ticket prices?

5. Q: Why does the tickets link take me to a different website?
A: As of Jan. 28, 2014 we are working with the ticketing company ShowClix to sell our tickets, and you will be directed to their website.
6. Q: Do you offer child tickets?
A: No. As of Sept. 5, 2012, we no longer offer child tickets to IMATS events. Children ages 6 and under are free. Anyone ages 7 and older must purchase a general admission ticket, and all children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. For safety reasons, no strollers are allowed at IMATS.
7. Q: How may I purchase Exhibit Floor Only tickets?
A: As of 2012 we no longer offer Exhibit Floor Only tickets.
8. Q: I haven’t received my e-tickets. What do I do?
A: Please click here to login to your account to view and print your ticket confirmation. For detailed instructions, please visit the ShowClix page. You are required to bring your e-ticket to check in at the show's Online Pre-Sale Tickets desk.
9. Q: Where do I pick up my tickets?
A: If you have purchased tickets online you will pick up your tickets at the show. There will be an Online Pre-Sale Tickets desk at the main entrance to the show. Please be sure to bring your e-ticket, a copy of your receipt and picture ID.
10. Q: May I pick up my wristband for Saturday and/or Sunday on Friday?
A: No, at this time early check-in is not available. You must check-in the same day as your ticket. Example: You bought a One-Day ticket for Saturday, so you must check in Saturday.
11. Q: How do the e-tickets work?
A: It’s easy! Select your ticket(s) and purchase online. A link to your QR-coded e-ticket will then be e-mailed to you. Print your e-ticket confirmation and bring it to the Online Pre-Sale desk at the show. Your confirmation will be scanned into our software, and you’ll be given a wristband that allows access to the show.
12. Q: I used the wrong email address when processing an order. How may I change that?
A: For your security, we do not allow customers to change the email address on an account without logging in to the account. If you contact the ShowClix Customer Care department, however, they can verify your identity and help you set up the correct email address for your account. Call IMATS at 360-882-3488, ext. 101 or ShowClix at 1-888-71-TICKETS.
13. Q: How may I move through the entry line even faster?
A: Make sure you print your e-ticket confirmation and have it ready at registration. This saves our staff the time needed to look up your information. You may also show your Make-Up Artist Pro Card. Click here for application details.
14. Q: I am a make-up IATSE union member. How do I get into the show?
A: Union members receive complimentary tickets to all IMATS. To receive this benefit you must have a Make-Up Artist Gold Pro Card. All I.A.T.S.E. make-up artists are eligible for the card. To apply, artists simply fill out a short online form and submit it with images of their union cards and photo IDs. This card will immediately identify IA make-up artists as people we hold in high regard. It will provide cardholders with special services and perks. After you have been assigned a Pro Card, you must register for tickets by going to the IMATS New York tickets page, entering your Pro-Card information and selecting the event tickets you would like. Follow the link for details on Pro-Card ticket allotments.
15. Q: What is the Make-Up Artist Pro Card application deadline for IMATS New York 2014?
A: In order to get approved in time for IMATS New York 2014, your application needs to be submitted by March 8 at 5 p.m. PDT. You may still apply for the Pro Card, however it may not be processed in time for the show.

17. Q: How may I change my ticket to a different day?
A: Note: As of Feb. 3, this is not available for General Admission tickets because Saturday is sold out. The ticket can be swapped to a different day providing tickets are still available. To swap tickets, please call IMATS at 360-882-3488, ext. 101 or ShowClix at 1-888-71-TICKETS.
Please note: If you purchased through makeupmag.com prior to Jan. 29, 2014 changes can not be made until your ticket has been reissued through ShowClix. Tickets should be reissued by Feb. 21, 2014
18. Q: How do I upgrade my ticket from a one-day to a two-day?
A: Tickets can no longer be upgraded (as of January 2014). You will need to purchase a ticket for the second day at this time.
19. Q: I can’t go to the show, may I get a refund?
A: Tickets are NONREFUNDABLE as stated on our website. No exceptions.
20. Q: How do I change the name on my ticket(s)?
A: If you need to change the name on your tickets for any reason (gifts, exchanges, etc.), please click here to follow the steps to edit and reprint your tickets.
Please note: Make-Up Artist magazine and IMATS can not be held liable for tickets purchased through a third party.
21. Q: What if my name is not on the ticket(s)?
A: If someone purchased a ticket for you with his/her name on it instead of yours—or if your name is not on the ticket for any reason—you should know that any individual will be granted access to the event under another individual’s ticket reservation (i.e. you will be allowed in even if the ticket says your friend's name). However, IMATS reserves the right to ask for identification in relation to the tickets, but this should only be necessary if there is a discrepancy with the tickets (i.e. any fraudulent activity) or if the tickets are set to be picked up at Registration. If you are going to an event and plan to pick up Registration tickets under someone else's name, we recommend having that person change the name on the tickets in their account. You can change the name on a ticket on your ShowClix My Tickets account.
22. Q: What type of bank or credit cards do you accept to purchase tickets and Make-Up Artist magazine or IMATS items at the show?
A: We can only accept cards with Visa, Master Card, American Express or Discover logos.
23. Q: What type of payments do vendors accept?
A: It depends on the vendor. Most accept cash or credit cards. You should contact the individual vendor to find out for sure.
24. Q: Do you offer a certificate of attendance for IMATS?
A: No we do not offer certification at this time.
25. Q: Do I need a ticket to get into the Pro-Card Event, and how do I register for the event?
A: Yes, Make-Up Artist Pro-Card holders will need to register for a ticket to the Pro-Card Event. Visit the IMATS New York tickets page, enter your Pro-Card information and select the event tickets you would like. At the show, you will check in at the Pro-Card members line at the Registration desk. You must provide your Make-Up Artist Pro Card, your ID and your ticket(s) when you check in. 26. Q: May I bring a guest to the Pro-Card Event?
A: (As of 1/29/14) All Make-Up Artist Pro-Card holders are allowed one guest. Guest must arrive and check-in with the Pro-Card holder for admittance. Follow the link for details on Pro-Card ticket allotments.
27. Q: How do I upgrade my Make-Up Artist Pro Card?
A: The Gold Pro Card is exclusively for make-up artists affiliated with a trade union or make-up effects shops, who are represented by an agency or who work in theater. Email your request for an upgrade to firstname.lastname@example.org.

31. Q: May I bring a pet to the show?
A: No pets are allowed at IMATS. Only service animals are permitted into the event.
32. Q: Is it possible that IMATS could sell out?
A: Yes. We have sold out tickets before the show started, for several years. We strongly advise that you purchase tickets online as soon as possible. Also, we highly recommend buying event tickets before booking your flight or hotel. Once a day is sold out, tickets are not available to purchase at the door or through Make-Up Artist magazine's office.
