The Magic of Avant Garde Make-up and Body Painting in Art and Fashion

Master editorial artist and body painter Einat Dan will show how to create avant garde make-up looks for fashion and close-up photography. She will use her unique techniques and style to create a fascinating avant garde make-up, guiding you as you try similar looks on your model. She will also discuss ways to incorporate body painting into the look, to take your designs to the next level. Dan will explore multiple techniques, explaining how to use products and tools in the most impressive, expressive ways possible.

Class will be held Friday, Feb. 3, 2012 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Alexandra Palace.

The fee for this four-hour, hands-on master class is £195. This fee includes access to our Pro-only event on Friday, Feb. 3 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Definitive Glamour: Make-up Essentials Workshop

Emmy Award-winning make-up artist Valenté Frazier—whose clients include Rihanna, Tyra Banks, Iman, Heidi Klum and American First Lady Michelle Obama—teaches the fundamentals of make-up application and the creation of stunning red-carpet glam looks. This intimate, hands-on workshop will cover tricks for correcting imperfections, the best make-ups for various skin types and nationalities, choosing foundations and concealers, how to create a younger-looking appearance, product care and make-up trends. Attendees should arrive with a model or friend to practice on and their own make-up kits to work from.
