Yes, general-admission hours are open to the public (ages 17 and older), where indicated. IMATS Pro-Card Events are only open to Make-Up Artist magazine Pro-Card holders, and the date and times vary by city. We reserve the right to refuse service.
You must be 17 years or older to attend. Make-Up Artist Gold and Platinum Pro-Card holders may purchase one guest ticket for someone under the age 17.
As the world’s first-ever make-up artist trade show, we’ve always been open to the public. Our primary mission, however, has always been to serve make-up professionals. In order to meet artists’ needs and avoid overcrowding, we decided in April 2014 to change the age limit.
If you made your purchase prior to the age limit change on April 25, 2014, your ticket(s) will be honored for someone under the age of 17. They must, however, still be accompanied by an adult ticket holder.
Yes. Several of our shows have sold out before starting, for several years. We strongly advise that you purchase tickets online as soon as possible. Also, we highly recommend buying event tickets before booking your flight or hotel. Once a day is sold out, tickets are not available to purchase at the door or through Make-Up Artist magazine’s office.
Tickets will go on sale approximately six months before the first day of the event. Check each city for show dates and links to purchase tickets.
